Tanzania explores its road safety system, strategies to reduce traffic congestion
DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 15 -- THE Chairperson of the National Road Safety Council and Deputy Minister for Home Affairs, Ayoub Mohammed Mahmoud, has chaired a working session of the Council to assess the state of road safety in Tanzania and discuss strategies to enhance safety for road users.
The meeting, held in Dar es Salaam, discussed various measures to reduce road accidents and traffic violations, with emphasis on strengthening cooperation between the government and institutions responsible for road safety and infrastructure.
