ARUSHA, March 12 -- THE Tanzanian government has announced the establishment of a 50bn/- fund aimed at empowering young people involved in the countrys creative arts industry.
Beneficiaries of the fund will include online content creators, artists, musicians, actors, journalists, social media influencers, and other creative professionals in the arts sector.
Speaking in Arusha, the Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Paul Makonda, said the fund is part of the implementation of directives issued by President Samia Suluhu Hassan, aimed at economically empowering youth through the media, arts, and creative sectors.
