DODOMA, Sept. 14 -- TANZANIA plans to increase its electricity generation capacity to 8,000 megawatts by 2030, creating significant investment opportunities in the countrys energy sector, Deputy Minister for Energy Salome Makamba has said.

Makamba said the government was seeking investors with financial resources, technological expertise and professional capabilities to support the implementation of various energy projects aimed at achieving the target.
