DAR ES SALAAM, July 3 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has strengthened Tanzanias partnership with the Gates Foundation to accelerate efforts aimed at improving maternal, newborn and child health in the country and across Africa.

A statement issued by the Director of Presidential Communication, Bakari Machumu said this was reached during talks held between the Head of State and the Foundations Director of Policy, Government Relations and Partnerships (Africa), Caty Fall Sow, where they discussed expanding collaboration in maternal and child health, immunisation, nutrition, health systems strengthening and disease prevention.
