DAR ES SALAAM, April 17 -- THE Tanzanian government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the regulation of professional boxing in the country, as part of efforts to safeguard boxers interests and ensure the sector contributes to youth economic empowerment.

Speaking during the launch of the Tanzania Professional Boxing Regulatory Commission (TPBRC) website, the Executive Secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC), Neema Msitha, said the move aims to enhance coordination systems and streamline the management of the sport to address longstanding challenges hindering its growth.
