DODOMA, Aug. 21 -- THE Tanzanian government is strengthening planning and budgeting processes to improve efficiency in the implementation and management of the 2027/28-2029/30 national budget.

Assistant Accountant General in the Ministry of Finance, Ayubu Banzi, made the statement Dodoma when opening a working session on the assessment of budget preparation and implementation for the second group of planning and budget specialists participating in the training noting that the initiative aims at gathering views from planning and budget experts that would help enhance budget implementation and oversight.
