MWANZA, July 6 -- THE Tanzanian government has affirmed to enhance land surveying services and the issuance of land titles to enable its citizens to use their land as a development resource and increase their economic potential, the Minister for Land, Housing and Human Settlements Development, Dr. Leonard Akwilapo, said today, July 6,2026.

Dr Akwilapo made the remarks during the distribution of 527 land titles in Solwe village at Kwimba district in Mwanza

He said the availability of land titles enables citizens to use their land as collateral to obtain loans from various financial institutions, a move that stimulates investment, business and family development.
