DODOMA, April 17 -- TANZANIA has significantly strengthened its public service delivery systems through large-scale recruitment, payroll reforms, and improved human resource management aimed at boosting efficiency across government institutions.

Presenting the budget for the Presidents Office (Public Service Management and Good Governance) for the 2026/2027 financial year to lawmakers in Dodoma on Friday, Minister of State Ridhiwani Kikwete said the government has issued 43,866 employment permits across various sectors between July 2025 and March 2026.
