DAR ES SALAAM, May 25 -- TANZANIA builds momentum toward AFCON 2027 preparations, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism has launched a nationwide exercise to upgrade the quality of accommodation and food services to meet international standards.

A statement from the ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism in Dar es Salaam today, May 25, 2026, stated that the exercise, which focuses on classification and grading of hospitality services, is being led by Director of Tourism in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism Thereza Mugobi alongside technical experts.
