DAR ES SALAAM, June 4 -- THE Ministry of Finance has announced the second phase of a nationwide pension verification exercise targeting retirees and other beneficiaries paid through the Treasury, urging those who missed the first phase to complete the process before July 15, 2026.

The exercise, which runs from June 1 to July 15, 2026, covers retired public servants receiving Treasury pensions, disability pension beneficiaries, widows and widowers receiving Treasury pensions both within and outside Tanzania who were not verified during the first phase conducted between January 15 and May 15, 2026.
