Tanzania drafts a five-year plan to develop properties held by its diplomatic missions abroad
DODOMA, Aug. 14 -- THE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation has prepared a five-year plan to develop government-owned properties, including buildings and plots of land held by Tanzanias diplomatic missions abroad.
The plan covers the 2025/2026 to 2029/2030 financial years and seeks to maximise the strategic use of the properties while reducing government expenditure on renting offices and residences for ambassadors and diplomatic staff.
