DODOMA, March 23 -- THE Permanent Secretary of the Presidents Office – Planning and Investment and Executive Secretary of the National Planning Commission, Dr Tausi Kida, has urged researchers in the country to focus their studies on addressing real economic and social challenges to drive inclusive and sustainable development.

Speaking in Dodoma during the opening of a stakeholder workshop on research, Dr Kida emphasized that the government aims to ensure that policy decisions and development plans are based on professional evidence derived from high-quality and impactful research.
