ACCRA, March 31 -- TANZANIA have secured qualification for the ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2028 Regional Qualifiers following a dominant and unbeaten campaign at the 2026 Africa Sub-Regional Qualifier B ended in Accra, Ghana, over the weekend.

The national team topped the table after winning all their matches, showcasing consistency, unity and strong belief throughout the tournament, an important step in their journey towards the 2028 ICC Mens T20 World Cup.

Their final fixture against hosts Ghana was abandoned without a toss due to rain, officially bringing the sub-regional campaign to a close. Tanzania was joined by Ghana who finish second as top two teams advanced.
