BANGKOK, Oct. 12 -- TANZANIA plans to use the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group Annual Meetings, which commence today in Bangkok, Thailand, to mobilise resources for national development projects and strengthen cooperation with international financing partners.

Speaking yesterday while chairing a preparatory meeting, Finance Minister Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar said Tanzanias participation was strategic in mobilising resources and ensuring proper management of external financing to support national development programmes.
