KATAVI, March 16 -- THE Tanzanian government has set aside 100m/- in the 2025/2026 financial year to compensate 343 residents of Nsimbo district who suffered losses due to attacks by dangerous and destructive wildlife.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Hamad Hassan Chande, announced this during a public meeting in Katavi Region, as part of follow-up activities from Prime Minister Mwigulu Nchembas nationwide inspection tour.
