ARUSHA, April 16 -- THE Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Ashatu Kijaji, has commended the Safari Field Challenge for enhancing the professionalism of tour guides and strengthening efforts to promote tourism and conservation in the country.

The minister made the remarks after visiting participants of the initiative at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Ndutu noting that the initiative goes in line with ongoing government efforts under President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who has championed Tanzanias global tourism profile, notably through the film Tanzania dubbed as ‘The Royal Tour.
