DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 18 -- THE Minister of State in the Prime Ministers Office responsible for Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), Prof. Riziki Shemdoe, has said awards recognising young scientists are supporting government efforts to strengthen skills-based education and establish more than 103 vocational schools across the country.

Prof. Shemdoe made the remarks on September 17, 2026, at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) Library Hall after touring an exhibition of research projects and innovations developed by young scientists from various secondary schools across Tanzania.
