DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 3 -- THE Deputy Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Wanu Hafidh Ameir, has underscored the critical role of women professionals in advancing the implementation of Tanzanias Development Vision 2050, saying their contribution is indispensable in building a knowledge-based, innovative and technology-driven economy.

Speaking during the Inclusive Mwalimu Gala 2026 held in Dar es Salaam, the Deputy Minister said the events theme, “The Contribution of Women Professionals to the Implementation of Tanzania Development Vision 2050,” reflects the strategic role women continue to play in the countrys socio-economic transformation.
