DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 30 -- THE Tanzanian government and the Russian Federation have agreed to strengthen digital cooperation in the economic and development sectors to promote sustainable development for the benefit of their citizens.

The agreement was reached today, September 30,2026, when Tanzanias Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, held talks with a delegation from the Office of the President of the Russian Federation at the Ministrys offices in Dar es Salaam.

The delegation was led by Denis Agafonov, Director of Analysis at the Office of the President of the Russian Federation.
