NDOLA, Oct. 6 -- TANZANIA is seeking to strengthen its position as a preferred trade gateway for Zambian businesses as the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA), together with port operators DP World and Tanzania East Africa Gateway Terminal Limited (TEAGTL), engages the countrys business community on improved port services and new trade opportunities.

The engagement, held on September 22 and 23, 2026, brought together Tanzanian port and transport stakeholders with Zambian businesses and industry representatives to identify challenges affecting the use of Tanzanias ports and explore ways of improving services and trade flows.
