DAR ES SALAAM, March 19 -- THE Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and AIDS Affairs has directed the government to prepare a strategic plan for infrastructure improvements at the Mwananyamala Regional Referral Hospital, including the construction of modern buildings and addressing the shortage of staff at the hospital.

The committee has also directed the government to increase the budget for providing education and conducting research on various health services and issues.

Speaking during a visit to the hospital located in Dar es Salaam, the Chairman, Dr Johannes Lukumay, commended the government for the investment and improvements in the provision of health services at the Hospital.
