NEW YORK, April 15 -- TANZANIA is advancing its health and population agenda on the global stage, with Minister for Health Mohamed Mchengerwa leading the countrys delegation at the 59th Session of the Commission on Population and Development in New York, United States.

The high-level meeting, which began on April 13 and runs through April 17, 2026, is focused on strengthening the link between population dynamics, technology, research, and sustainable development, while helping countries craft data-driven and innovation-led policies.
