DODOMA, Sept. 10 -- OFFICIALS from Tanzanias Ministry of Finance and Zanzibars Ministry of Finance and Planning have exchanged experience on using and managing the Electronic Register of Government Procurement and Supplies Personnel Information System (PSPIS).

The officials met in Dodoma for a working session focused on sharing knowledge about the systems design, development and use in implementing Section 7(j) of the Public Procurement Act No. 10 of 2023.

The Act requires the Ministry to advise on the structure and appointment of heads of Procurement and Supplies Management Units and recommend transfers of officers responsible for procurement and supplies functions.
