ZAMBIA, March 27 -- TANZANIA‘S  Minister for Energy, Deogratius Ndejembi, held talks with Zambias Minister of Energy, Makozo Chikote, to explore ways of strengthening and advancing bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, particularly in the oil and gas sub-sector.

The meeting took place on March 27, 2026, in Lusaka, and was attended by the Permanent Secretary in Tanzanias Ministry of Energy responsible for Petroleum and Gas, James Mataragio, as well as Tanzanias Ambassador to Zambia, Mathew Edward Mkingule. Technical experts from the Ministry of Energy and its affiliated institutions were also present.
