BERLIN, Oct. 15 -- TANZANIA and the World Health Organisation (WHO) have discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the health sector, including efforts to improve health systems and address emerging global health challenges.

This was reached in a discussion between Tanzanias Ambassador to Germany, Hassani Mwamweta, with WHO Regional Director for Africa, Prof Mohamed Janabi, when the latter visited the Tanzanian Embassy in Berlin.

Prof Janabi was accompanied by Tanzanias Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Abdallah Possi, and Tanzanians from various institutions, including representatives of the Ministry of Health and non-governmental organisations.
