NAIROBI, Sept. 11 -- TANZANIA and the United States of America have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation across various development sectors, including health, agriculture, energy, mining, infrastructure, education and tourism, with the aim of expanding economic opportunities and improving the welfare of citizens in both countries.

The commitment was expressed during a meeting between Tanzanias Deputy Minister for Finance, Laurent Luswetula, and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs, Erin Browne, in Nairobi, Kenya. The talks were held on the sidelines of a High-Level Dialogue of Finance Ministers on strengthening joint investment in the health sector.
