DODOMA, Aug. 14 -- TANZANIA and Germany have opened bilateral talks aimed at strengthening development cooperation, with a focus on projects expected to deliver direct benefits to citizens and contribute to national economic growth.

The talks, held at the Ministry of Finance conference hall in Mtumba, Dodoma focused on strategic areas including water and sanitation, health, energy, sustainable use of natural resources and environmental conservation.

Other areas that the leaders focused on at their discussion are access to justice, sound public financial management and gender equality.
