Tanzania, EU agree to deepen ties in trade and investment for economic growth, implementation of Vision 2050
DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 28 -- TANZANIA and the European Union (EU) have agreed to strengthen cooperation in trade and investment as part of efforts to accelerate economic growth and contribute to the implementation of the National Development Vision 2050.
The agreement was discussed during a meeting that brought together representatives of EU member states, the EU Delegation in Tanzania, European business associations, as well as various government institutions and authorities.
Among the government institutions that participated were the Immigration Department, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA), which play key roles in facilitating trade and investment in the count...
