LUBUMBASHI, July 30 -- TANZANIAN envoy to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Said Juma Mshana, held talks with the Governor of Kasaï Oriental Province, Jean-Paul Mbwebwa Kapo, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Tanzania and the province through both public and private sector partnerships. The discussions focused on key areas including defence and security, transport and logistics, agriculture, and value addition to natural resources for the mutual benefit of both sides.

The meeting took place at the Governors office in Mbuji-Mayi, where the two leaders underscored the importance of expanding economic and development cooperation to further strengthen relations between Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
