DAR ES SALAAM, July 15 -- TANZANIA and China have stepped up efforts to expand economic cooperation, with both countries identifying trade, investment, infrastructure, industrialisation and technology as priority areas for deeper collaboration.

This was reached in a discussion between Tanzanias Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, and the Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania, Chen Mingjian, as the two sides explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

The leaders also discussed measures to further enhance diplomatic ties while broadening economic cooperation to unlock new investment and business opportunities.
