Tanzania, Australia agree to deepen bilateral ties in trade, investment, mining
DAR ES SALAAM, July 31 -- TANZANIA and Australia are seeking to deepen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and the mining sector as the two countries move to expand economic and diplomatic relations.
The commitment emerged during talks between Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr Ngwaru Maghembe, and Australias Acting High Commissioner to Tanzania, Andrew Barnes, at the ministrys sub-office in Dar es Salaam.
The two leaders discussions centred on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, energy, mining and training for artisanal and small-scale miners, areas both sides identified as key drivers of future collaboration.
