Tanzania, ADDI explore strategies to enable African diaspora to support development initiatives
DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 24 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has held talks with the President of the African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI), Ambassador Arikana Chihombori-Quao, focusing on strengthening cooperation between Tanzania, the institution and the African diaspora to advance the continents development.
According to a statement released by the Director of Presidential Communications, Bakari Machumu, during the talks held today, August 24, 2026, at State House in Dar es Salaam, both sides discussed ways of harnessing the potential of the African diaspora to support investment, knowledge exchange and development initiatives across the continent.
