DODOMA, Nov. 3 -- THE Tanzanian government, through the Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO), has completed preliminary preparations for the construction of a power substation in Hanang District, Manyara Region, at an estimated cost of 44.62bn/[-.

Responding on behalf of the Minister for Energy, Deputy Minister for Health Florence Samizi said the preparations include assessing the proposed site for the substation and preparing cost estimates for the project. The government is currently pursuing funding arrangements to facilitate its implementation.
