Tabora targets 12bn/- revenue collection
TABORA, Sept. 4 -- TABORA Municipal Council has set its sights on achieving its 12bn/- revenue target, with Mayor Gulamhussein Remtullah directing councillors to work closely with council experts to strengthen collections and eliminate revenue leakages.
The mayor issued the directive yesterday while closing the first day of the councils fourth-quarter meeting, where councillors are reviewing implementation reports for the previous financial year.
He said closer cooperation between councillors and technical experts was essential to ensure all revenue due to the council was collected and used to improve services for residents.
