DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 21 -- A RECENT TBC programme celebrating 60 years of the Bank of Tanzania (BoT) covered a range of topics, including gold and its role as a government asset that generates foreign exchange.

The interview with the central banks top senior management provided insights into the differences between Tanzanias gold held abroad in foreign institutions and that stored in the BoTs vaults.
