DAR ES SALAAM, May 10 -- ALPHONCE Simbu was named the Best Male Athlete of the Year 2025 at the National Sports Awards held at the Superdome.

His outstanding performances in athletics helped him earn the prestigious award and gain recognition among Tanzanias top sports personalities.

The National Sports Awards ceremony brought together many famous athletes, sports leaders, and fans to celebrate excellence in sports.
