Simba, Mashujaa set for tight Premier League clash
DAR ES SALAAM, May 14 -- TITLE-CHASING Simba SC face a stern test of their championship credentials today when they face a resilient Mashujaa FC side in a Mainland Premier League fixture at Lake Tanganyika Stadium.
The Msimbazi giants, currently second in the Mainland Premier League, are looking to narrow a five-point gap behind leaders Young Africans (Yanga). Simba have 49 points from 22 matches, while Yanga lead with 54 points having played one game more.
While Simba have dominated recent head-tohead meetings, their opponents have lost only once in their last six matches, setting the stage for a highstake encounter in Kigoma.
