DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 16 -- SIMBA and Azam FC will put their unbeaten starts to the season on the line today when the two giants meet at the Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam in one of the most anticipated earlyseason league clashes.

Separated by just one point on the table, the encounter brings together a Simba side with a perfect record and Azam yet to taste defeat after six matches.

Simba have won all five of their matches to collect 15 points, scoring nine goals and conceding only two, while Azam have four victories and two draws from six games, leaving them on 14 points after scoring 11 and conceding five.

For Simba Head Coach Steven Barker, however, the match carries significance beyond the current standings.
