DAR ES SALAAM, July 28 -- HEADING to Kisarawe Rally this weekend, Mkwawa Rally team driver Samir Shanto has pledged to dedicate his victory to his family, most notably his daughter, Bint Shanto, who tied knots over the weekend.

Shanto, who has been actively participating in the motor rally since early 1990s, said in Dar es Salaam today, July 27, 2026, that his participation in the Kisarawe Rally targets a podium reward for his daughter, who for many years, prayed for him to drive safely and claim a clean victory.
