DODOMA, May 23 -- CONSTRUCTION of the Bima–Mawenzi–Kimanga Road in Segerea Constituency has been included in the 2026/27 development plan, with 3.65 kilometres earmarked for upgrading, including 0.65 kilometres to be built with concrete pavement at a cost of 1.87bn/-.

Deputy Minister of State in the Prime Ministers Office (Regional Administration and Local Government), Dr Festo Dugange, told the National Assembly in Dodoma yesterday that an additional 0.7-kilometre stretch will be constructed through the Dar es Salaam Metropolitan Development Project Phase 2 (DMDP II), which is being implemented across all districts in Dar es Salaam Region.
