NEW YORK, May 22 -- TANZANIA has intensified its diplomatic engagement across multiple regions following a series of credential presentation ceremonies involving its newly appointed ambassadors in Saudi Arabia, Comoros, the United Nations, and Slovakia.

In Saudi Arabia on May 19, 2026, Tanzanias Ambassador, Eng Zena Ahmed Said, presented copies of her Letters of Credence to Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs, Abdulmajeed Alsmari, in a formal ceremony where the envoy reaffirmed Tanzanias commitment to strengthening its long-standing diplomatic and economic relations with Saudi Arabia for mutual benefit.
