DODOMA, Oct. 2 -- PRESIDENT Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan yesterday swore in four newly appointed government leaders, during a ceremony held at Chamwino State House in Dodoma.

Those sworn in were Abdallah Ulega as Minister for Constitution and Legal Affairs, Dr Juma Homera as Minister for Energy and Masanja Kadogosa as Minister for Works.

President Dr Samia also swore in Asha Abdulla as Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance responsible for financial management.

After the swearing-in ceremony, President Dr Samia chaired a Cabinet meeting. The appointments and swearing-in ceremony were announced in a public statement issued by the Directorate of Presidential Communications yesterday.
