ZANZIBAR, Oct. 9 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has sent messages of condolence following the deaths of 32 people, including three police officers, in two separate road accidents that occurred in Morogoro Region on the night of October 8, 2026.

President Samia sent the condolence messages to Morogoro Regional Commissioner Queen Sendiga and Inspector General of Police Camillus Wambura.

In her messages, the President extended her condolences to the families, relatives and friends of those who lost their loved ones, wishing them strength, patience and comfort during this difficult period of mourning. She also wished all those injured a speedy recovery.
