DODOMA, May 11 -- MORE than 600,000 residents have been reached through the ongoing second phase of the Mama Samia Legal Aid Campaign (MSLAC) in Dodoma, with over half of the disputes recorded so far successfully resolved, just nine days into the exercise.
Director of Legal Aid Services in the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Ms Ester Msambazi, said at the weekend that out of 543 disputes received during the campaign, 282 have already been settled, while 261 cases remain under active resolution.
She said the campaign aims to ensure that by May 15, 2026, long-standing legal challenges in Dodoma particularly land conflicts, compensation disputes and cases of double land allocation are resolved by between 90 and 100 per cent....
