DODOMA, Aug. 11 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has met and held discussions with Catholic bishops in Tanzania through the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC), with discussions focusing on strengthening cooperation between the government and the Church on issues of national importance.

The meeting was held at Chamwino State House in Dodoma, bringing together the Head of State and leaders of the Catholic Church to discuss matters affecting Tanzanian society, including politics, faith and development.
