TANGA, May 21 -- RWANDA has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening trade relations with the Tanga Port, including continued use of the facility for cargo transit.

This was stated by Rwandas High Commissioner to Tanzania, Patrick Nyamvumba, during a visit to the port aimed at assessing operations and exploring further opportunities for enhancing trade cooperation.

Ambassador Nyamvumba said Tanga Port has become an important logistical link for the movement of commercial goods to and from Rwanda, stressing the need to further strengthen bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries.
