Russia awards 100 percent scholarships to 10 Tanzanian students to pursue degrees at RUDN University
DODOMA, Aug. 14 -- THE Russian government has awarded 100 percent scholarships to 10 Tanzanian students who completed their Form Six studies, enabling them to pursue undergraduate degrees at RUDN University in Moscow, Russia.
Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Adolf Mkenda, made the announcement today, August 13, 2026, while speaking to journalists in Dodoma. He said the students are expected to leave Tanzania on September 1, 2026.
Prof Mkenda said the students were selected from eight public schools and two private schools, and all are science-stream graduates.
