DAR ES SALAAM, March 20 -- THE Parliamentary Standing Committee on Infrastructure has conducted a visit to the Kwala Dry Port to observe its operations and assess the progress of the ongoing project.
Speaking during the visit, Minister of Transport, Professor Makame Mbarawa, stated that the Kwala Dry Port helps improve the efficiency of the Dar es Salaam Port by reducing cargo congestion. He also noted that efforts are being made to ensure that various countries can easily channel their goods through the Dar es Salaam Port.
