MWANZA, Sept. 17 -- MWANZA Regional Commissioner CP Salum Hamduni has directed local government leaders and Mwanza City Council officials to create a favourable environment for traders to conduct their businesses efficiently and contribute to regional development.

CP Hamduni issued the directive yesterday during a working visit to Mwanza City Council, where he stressed the need for suitable trading areas with essential infrastructure.

He said council development plans should prioritise business infrastructure, including markets, trading areas, roads, water, sanitation and other essential services.
