DODOMA, June 17 -- DODOMA Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule has called on small-scale gold miners operating at a newly discovered site in Dabalo Ward, Chamwino District, to fully comply with mining regulations, pay due taxes, and observe safety standards to ensure the resource benefits both local communities and the nation.

Ms Senyamule made the appeal during a public meeting in Dabalo Ward as part of her working tour to inspect development projects and engage residents on key local concerns.

She stressed that all mining activities must be conducted in line with government laws and procedures, noting that responsible extraction of minerals is essential for driving local development and contributing to national economic growth.
